For the record – About our toiletries range

To all our loyal customers, in a time where ethical sourcing is at the forefront of everyone’s mind (as it should be) we would like to set the recored straight. We carry a fantastic range of lanolin toiletries made with the lanolin from sheep fleeces. The lanolin DOES NOT come directly from our own Romney Sheep, some of our lanolin may be used for this purpose but we cannot guarantee or reasonable trace that it absolutely is within our own toiletries range. We have always stated that the toiletries range is our ‘Own Brand’ of’ which is true, our ethos is to promote wool and all its benefits, and therefore the lanolin has always formed part of our story of all that you can get from a fleece. Please do accept our apologies if this has been misguiding (as journalists recently have written this to be specifically from our Romney Sheep – something we ourselves have never quoted). Lanolin has many benefits and one of them is that it is ‘one of the closets matches to our skintone’ which is why it is excellent in moisturising the skin. We hope that you will continue support Romney Marsh Wools range, we can guarantee that All our Throws, Cushions, etc are made from our own sheep fleeces. Wool is a wonderful natural, sustainable resource and we hope ALL can see the benefits of using ‘Real Wool’ as we see it.

Chamber Business Awards 2013

A Truly Entertaining Evening

Kent businesses joined together to celebrate business excellence on Wednesday 13th March, at the prestigious Canterbury Cathedral Lodge set within the precincts of Canterbury Cathedral. The Kent Invicta Chamber’s ‘Excellence in Business’ Awards evening turned out to be a wonderful evening not only for the winners, but for all those who attended, with an entertaining performance of Mindreading and Illusion from Graham Jolley.

Now in their 8th year, the Awards have been a great catalyst to promote the excellence in business that is in abundance within Kent. The Awards were in 5 categories and, with a record number of entries for all categories, it was extremely difficult to select only three finalists for each.
